December 30, 2011 § 2 Comments
Happy to share this today – best way to do this is to let Shanna (aka lipreadingmom) tell you about it!
– from her blog, lipreadingmom.com – please go to http://lipreadingmom.com/2011/12/28/why-are-some-internet-videos-captioned-and-some-arent/
to read that blog and several others related to this.
Want to get involved soon? Email Shanna or ccacaptioning@gmail.com
With thanks to every person who knows that Internet broadcasting needs full equal communication access!

I am pleased to announce that several individuals have joined the Lipreading Mom Internet Captions Campaign and have already submitted letters to various Web sites. A big thanks to Bill Holman, David Pearson, Linda Allen, and, most particularly, Lauren with CCAC. Become a volunteer advocate for captioning by joining me and CCAC on this campaign at http://LipreadingMom.com and http://www.ccaccaptioning.org.
Good progress everyone!
I’ll try to round up other CCAC members and others who have done some similar letters in recent months too. Those of you who are members of the CCAC and use the members’ googlegroup, feel free to share information there also.
